Delivery & lead times
Define the lead-time bands and charges behind every order's estimated delivery date.
You control the delivery speeds your retailers can choose, so the portal only ever promises lead times you can actually meet. Delivery rules live under Studio → Settings.
Lead-time bands
A band is a named delivery speed with a lead time and a charge, for example:

The retailer picks a band in the configurator; its charge is added once per order.
Estimated delivery
Retailers don't pick an exact calendar date. They choose a speed — or, for a wedding that's further out, a deferred delivery week (up to 40 weeks). From that choice the order carries a realistic estimated delivery date.
The estimate drives the schedule
The estimated delivery date feeds the production schedule and the wedding-date risk engine, so "will it make the wedding?" is always answered against a date the studio actually committed to.
How retailers see it
In the configurator, each band shows its lead time and any surcharge. Choosing Deferred opens a week picker; every choice shows the resulting estimated delivery ("around 14 Mar 2027") before the gown is added to the order.
Deferred sizing is different
Deferred delivery (above) is about when a gown is made. Deferred sizing is about a bride order placed before the size is final: the stockist orders at an expected size and gives a date they'll confirm by; cutting is held until they do, with reminders from 14 days before and a cut-off 8 weeks before the wedding.
