Order statuses
Every stage in an order's life, who moves it, and who's notified.
Every order moves through a set of stages. Which stages you see, and who moves an order through them, depends on your production tracking mode — a setting under Studio → Settings → Production tracking.
Simple tracking (the default)
Your studio moves the order. Use this when your factory works from the emailed spec and doesn't log in.

On the order page, one button moves the order to its next stage — Move to With production, then Mark dispatched — and a quieter Move back link corrects a mistake. A correction is recorded in the order history but doesn't notify the stockist.
Detailed tracking
Your factory logs in to its queue and advances each gown. Two extra stages appear between Confirmed and Dispatched:

The studio can still step an order forward or back from the order page — useful when the factory hasn't updated its queue. If your factory uses its queue while you're on simple tracking, the finer stage shows beneath With production.
Moving on automatically
Under Settings → Production tracking you can have confirmed orders move to With production by themselves after a set number of days — for brands whose factory works from the emailed spec and commits to fabric and components within that window. It applies to every confirmed order, deferred-size orders included (materials are ordered either way); dispatch stays manual. You can also have the portal ask the factory "is this in production?" every few days with one-click Yes / Not yet links (English and Chinese, no login): Yes moves the order on, Not yet tells your studio and stops the reminders.
Changing mode is safe
Switching between simple and detailed only changes which steps the studio sees and steps through. Existing orders keep their place, and the factory queue keeps working either way.
Everyone stays in sync
Each stage change updates the stockist's production timeline, notifies them in-app and by email, and emails the studio's notify address — so the studio, factory and retailer are always looking at the same truth. See Notifications & messages.
What the stockist sees
Stockists don't need the internal production detail, so their timeline rolls cutting, production and quality check into one With production phase — four steps: Order placed → Confirmed → With production → Dispatched — in either tracking mode.
A deferred-size order also shows a Size confirmed step after Confirmed on the studio's timeline, recorded when the stockist confirms the final size. The order can't move into production until then.
Risk flags
While an order is live, the studio's schedule scores it against its wedding date: on track, watch, at risk or critical. These are a lens for the studio to prioritise — they aren't a status the order moves through. See Orders & production.
