Licence & team

Invite colleagues into your studio, and understand the platform licence everyone accepts on first sign-in.

Two things every label sorts out early: who from your own team can sign into the studio, and the licence agreement that every user of the platform accepts before they start.

Your studio team

Studio → Team lists everyone with studio access and lets you add more.

  • Invite a colleague — enter their email. They receive an email with a link to set a password, and from then on have full studio access.
  • Remove — takes their access away. Their past actions stay on the order history.

Two safety rails

You can't remove your own access, and you can't remove the last remaining admin — so a studio can never lock itself out.

There's one studio role: every team member can do everything in the studio. Stockists and your factory are separate roles with their own sign-ins — see Roles & access.

The licence agreement

Labels.io publishes a platform End User Licence Agreement. Every user — stockist, studio and factory — accepts it once, at their first sign-in, before they can use their part of the portal.

  • Stockists accept it inside their first-login wizard, which also asks them to accept your trading terms and to confirm their shop details.
  • Studio and factory users see the same agreement on their first sign-in.

The licence text is published by the platform, not by your label; it's the same for every brand. Your own trading terms are separate and yours to edit under Studio → Terms — stockists accept those once before ordering, and publishing them as a new version asks everyone to accept again.

Studio → Licence

The Licence page shows the version currently in force and, for every stockist login, which version they accepted and when — with a count of anyone on an older version who needs to re-accept.

When the platform publishes a new version, everyone is asked to accept it again at their next sign-in. One click — Notify stockists to re-accept — emails only the logins that accepted an earlier version, so they know to expect it. Stockists who have never signed in are prompted anyway and aren't emailed.
